Cookie Policy.

A short, plain-English summary of the cookies Crooter uses and the choices available to you.

Last updated · 26 June 2026

Overview

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you use a website or web application. Crooter uses a deliberately small set of cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and help us improve the product.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function. They include session identifiers, CSRF protection tokens and load-balancing cookies. They cannot be disabled while using the Service.

Authentication

When you sign in, Crooter stores a secure authentication token so you do not need to sign in again on every page. The token is bound to your device and expires automatically after a period of inactivity.

Preference cookies

Preference cookies remember choices such as your interface theme, sidebar state and last-used filters. These are convenience features and clearing them simply resets the relevant UI.

Analytics (future)

Crooter does not currently run third-party advertising or tracking analytics on its product surfaces. If we introduce privacy-respecting product analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required, you will be asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to Crooter and using authenticated features.
